Enroll in your plan

Last updated: June 27, 2022

The person responsible for your plan is usually the only person who can enroll new plan members. However, depending on your plan, you may be able to enroll on your own using our secure site. If that's the case for you, follow these instructions.

Before you start

  • Our intuitive tool will guide you through the enrollment process. If you have questions along the way, use the Help tool or contact the person responsible for your plan.
  • You might see different options and fields than what’s shown here, depending on your plan. If there’s any information you can’t see or make changes to, contact the person responsible for your plan.
  • Once you’re enrolled, you will only be able to change your insurance options if you experience one of the following life events:
    • Marriage or new common-law spouse
    • Separation or divorce
    • Birth, adoption of a child or return to school
    • Loss or gain of a spouse's coverage, for a reason other than personal choice
    • Death of a dependent
    • Termination of a dependent's eligibility because of their age

If you are enrolled in a flexible plan, you can also make changes during your re-enrollment period. Contact the person responsible for your plan to find out when your next re-enrollment period begins.

Steps

  1. Log in to your account. Need help logging in?
  2. Click Your account, then Enrollment and coverage.

    Don’t see this option?

That probably means your plan doesn’t allow online enrollment. Contact the person responsible for your group insurance plan for more information.

  4. Make sure the information displayed on the screen is accurate, then click Next to proceed with the enrollment.

  5. Go through the various menus to see what options have been preselected and what else is available.

    • To confirm your options without making changes, click Next.
    • To make changes to your coverage options click the name of the benefit on the left or the pencil icon on the right.

Our tool will automatically calculate your premium based on your selections .

    Helpful hint
