Experience
Mario St-Hilaire holds a bachelor's degree in actuarial science from
Université Laval and holds the FCIA and FSA professional designations. He continues his professional development in actuarial science and risk management.
Mario St-Hilaire has been with Desjardins since 1995 and has held a number of positions in the finance and corporate actuarial sectors. He's since been promoted to Chief Risk Officer at Desjardins Financial Security, a position he's held for 3 years now.
He's also served on several life insurance industry committees, including the Financial Reports Commission of the Life Insurance Companies of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries. He currently serves on the CLHIA Chief Risk Officer Committee.
He's known for his understanding, unifying and results-oriented leadership.
